About Dr. Almousalli
Omar Almousalli, MD, is dedicated to providing the highest quality of cardiovascular care at Advanced Heart Care in Fairview Heights and Belleville, Illinois. Dr. Almousalli is board-certified in both cardiovascular medicine and nuclear cardiology and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is also an active member of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Focusing on the treatment of cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure, Dr. Almousalli also offers a variety of on-site cardiovascular diagnostics and treatments. He affiliates with several local hospitals, including Memorial Hospital Belleville and HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois.
Dr. Almousalli earned his medical degree from the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine in Aleppo, Syria. He completed both his residency and fellowship training at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois, where he also served as chief medical resident.
Creating custom care plans for heart conditions, like arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, and heart attacks, Dr. Almousalli also performs cardiovascular surgeries, including stent placements and angioplasties, using the latest techniques. He’s also skilled in cardiovascular diagnostics and offers technologies, such as echocardiograms, to monitor overall heart health.
